Convert images into customizable pixel art
Pixelate is a Scenario feature that converts photos and illustrations into pixel art. Users control pixel grid size and color palettes, then can remove noise or backgrounds to prepare sprites, avatars, game interfaces, and other retro-styled assets.
The decision
Start with the job, the team, and the constraints. Product fit becomes much clearer when those three line up.
Inside the product
The core product capabilities, grouped around the work they enable.
Pixelate converts uploaded photos or illustrations into pixel art for assets such as games, posters, and avatars.
Users can choose grid sizes from 16 px to 256 px and use extracted or custom color palettes.
Optional noise removal smooths edges, while background removal isolates the image subject.
Upload an image from your library or drag it into the app. Set a palette and pixel grid size, optionally remove noise or the background, then generate and refine the result.
