Personalized web feed summaries with source-backed research
Summary Box is a Chrome-based agent that reads a user's logged-in feeds and turns them into ranked digests, source-linked roundups, and research answers. It covers services including YouTube, Reddit, X, LinkedIn, Hacker News, and Substack, using a visible browser window on the user's machine.
The decision
Start with the job, the team, and the constraints. Product fit becomes much clearer when those three line up.
Inside the product
The core product capabilities, grouped around the work they enable.
Reads selected logged-in feeds and returns cards with a one-line reason to open, skip, or recognize already-read items.
Uses a visible browser window on the user's machine to read feeds and threads with the user's existing sessions.
Lets users research highlighted content or ask questions, returning compressed answers with clickable receipts.
Add the Chrome extension and use the feeds you already browse. Summary Box's local Ghost Browser reads those sources while logged in as you, then builds a ranked digest and cross-source roundups. Open a card or use the panel to research a selection and follow each result back to its receipts.
